SPOTLIGHT ON…… Rachel Nidelchoff-Henry!
March 2018!!
My name is Rachel Nidelchoff-Henry. I am a mom, wife and
nurse. Life is pretty busy and we are a family that is always on the go. When I
was younger I was active and outgoing but for years my “baby” weight has
bothered me or kept me from doing things because I was uncomfortable. I’ve
always had the mindset “one day I will find the time” or “one day when I get
time”. It was the excuse that I told myself because I felt guilty or selfish
for taking time away from my family to do something for myself. As time has
moved on my babies are 9 and 10 and it is no longer “baby” weight and it was
time for a change. As a nurse I know the importance of taking care of myself
and the long-term effects that an unhealthy lifestyle can take on the body. We
have health issues in my family that I also knew would eventually catch up to
me if I didn’t make the change.
After seeing 2 of my friends amazing results with Ian and
Pumps Fitness I knew I had to try. After my initial workout/assessment I was
hooked! From day one Ian was dedicated to my goals and helping me obtain those.
Ian makes your experience the entire package from diet and exercise to being
your cheerleader and to making modifications for a broken toe! No matter what
you walk in the door with Ian is committed to making your experience motivating
and positive. He knows your preferred workout music, knows your facial
expressions and exactly what to say to “get your mind right”. In the short time
I have been at Pumps Fitness I have lost inches and weight and most importantly
felt the best I have in years. To be able to workout somewhere that you feel
comfortable and with the guidance of Ian and the other trainers is something
that I needed and could not do on my own!
This by far was one of the best decisions I have made. I
don’t feel guilty taking a short amount of time for myself each week, quite
honestly it is the opposite. I feel better and am more present for my family; I
can keep up with everyone and the crazy schedule. My kids even know the schedule;
it has become part of our family routine.
From the beginning Ian has told me “once an athlete always
an athlete, the body remembers”. Thank you so much to Ian and Pumps Fitness for
getting me on track, believing in me and keeping me focused on my goals.
